Communicating to Industry Stakeholders
- Dates: February 13 to February 14
- Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Project Stakeholder and Communications Management is a two day course where participants be introduced to the art of communication. We tend to do a lot of talking but precious little communication. Communication to key stakeholders needs to be planned and purposeful. In this course, students will learn about stakeholder management and methods to meet or exceed project stakeholder expectations. Students will learn the psychology of power, influence and persuasion and will be introduced to a proven method of negotiation and conflict resolution which students will then apply to an in-class case study. Additionally, this module will address the often neglected art of listening, interviewing and conducting effective meetings.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
· Create a detailed communication plan
· Create a stakeholder management plan
· Increase stakeholder buy-in
· Create audience aware presentations
· Conduct effective interviews
Please note, this course includes catered lunch. Please notify CCC if you have any food allergies and we will accomodate. Thank you!
